Ahead of the UN vote on Palestinian statehood scheduled for September, CITpax and the Foundation for International Relations and Foreign Dialogue (FRIDE) have organised a debate with Mohammad Shtayyeh, advisor to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. The Future of Palestine: The September deadline and how the West can react

On 2 June 2011, the Toledo International Centre for Peace (CITpax) and FRIDE organised a debate to discuss the future of Palestine.The debate was led by John Bell, Director of the Middle East and Mediterranean Programme at CITpax; and Richard Youngs, Director General at FRIDE.
